Description Has anybody noticed how subtly Halo seems to be gravitating towards MW2's play style? Just a thought...

And a good laugh

I'd say Halo 4 is still loads better then CoD, cause it actually implements the traits well. Like ordanance is much better then the Killstreaks in CoD as it is much fairer, and sprinting is just a nice thing to have. Halo 4 is a brilliant game.

More like 85% Halo and 15% assassins creed if you live in my world. I swear to god I have done to many assassinations to count. And that's in one firefight. Call of Duty is becoming Halo. Because, all those PS3 players out there who want halo to be PS3 as well, need something to substitute, and that's what Call of Duty (Black Ops 2 to be more specific) wants to give them to get more profit from the futuristic effect that Halo gives. Nice screenshot. It'd be a shame if that elite there just happened to look up.

Anybody remembers when Halo was about some big ring that was there for some purpose? If it continues going on like this, they might as well change the name of the game series into, I dunno... Something with Spartans in the title perhaps.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

dandragonslayer9 In reply to Bionicman-AW [2012-11-24 06:21:58 +0000 UTC]

There's seven rings.... what are you on about? Halo reach was set before Halo 1......

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Bionicman-AW In reply to dandragonslayer9 [2012-11-24 22:17:19 +0000 UTC]

You' right about that, but what I actually wanted to say is that the newer Halo games after Halo 2 didn't have this 'we're explosing what is going on here and have to fight off the Covenant' feeling. Maybe it's just me, but somehow the following games had a more 'don't ask, just shoot and blow stuff up' attitude. Nothing wrong about that, but I always thought, something was missing here.
I'm not on about the story, it's just this little change in the game-play-feeling that bothered me a bit.

1 thing... l: halo 4 was about fighting (i havnt played the game, but watched brother play is, sry if im wrong) the people who MADE the halos? so basically... they kinda just set aside that and made it better

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Bionicman-AW In reply to Nightcry256 [2013-04-20 16:54:43 +0000 UTC]

Better depends on how you define better. Halo 4 is an awesome game and seeing the Forrunners was something we all waited for. Requium has very beautiful landscapes and the fights were just awesome. But still, something was missing. Maybe that's just how I see it. It's certainly a good Halo game, at least as good as the others. It's different, but does that mean it's better?
And it also had its flaws...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Nightcry256 In reply to Bionicman-AW [2013-04-20 20:04:02 +0000 UTC]

true l: they kinda did ruin the whole series with the 4th game, seeing there was like the forerunners and all that stuff... (my opinion, of course)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Bionicman-AW In reply to Nightcry256 [2013-04-21 18:42:39 +0000 UTC]

Introducing the Forerunners was probably for the fans, because they were mentioned since the first game, but were never shown. But seeing an actual Forerunner made me wonder, why did 343 Guilty Spark say to the Chief "You are Forerunner", but he looks nothing like one. Maybe they'll tell us that in a future game or it was already mentioned in a book. I don't know.

Now that you say it that way i somewhat agree... although not entirely, I agree with you on Halo Reach... Halo 4 had minimal amounts of that but is still more present than in Halo 2 and 1..... I believe its turned out this way because Bungie, the original makers, aren't involved in it anymore and such of the "don't ask, just shoot and blow up stuff" so that more people by the game....

spartan8662 In reply to dandragonslayer9 [2013-02-06 03:40:31 +0000 UTC]

i see what you guys are saying, but if every single game was the same, " oh, another ring that i need to blow up to save the universe, how new" it would be as repetitive as CoD
