Ok this started as some joking around after noticing the weird faces of Mas and Ahsoka in the background of the one scene from The Clone Wars, in the episode Heros on Both Sides. When Palpy touches her cheek if you watch the background you will notice Mas has a most unimpressed look on his face, and Ahsoka looks confused. I ran with the idea. First off if this an attempt to turn Anakin to the dark side the whole point was to have him work with Palpatine not against him. Second of all it is good to know Mas is not a total dick.

It made me laugh! XD the funny part is, if you read enough canon material you start to realize that this is exadurated... But possible. Palpatine was rather generous with Padme, getting her an high end apartment catered to her tastes (Star Wars insider), and a couple of the books with padme driving just as bad as palpy... Suggests who taught her to drive. Especially given he had a lake house by hers on Naboo. They were very close. Another book says "she supported him almost til the very end" as they were close. It's not a far stretch from there

Well, he's not the main reason I hate the Republic. It has more to do with the fact that they GROW living, breathing, sentient beings to be used as soldiers, and then have the gall to say that what we do is atrocious. Not only that, but during the Battle of Neimoidia, Clone Troopers intentionally set fire to Neimoidian grub hatcheries. Grub hatcheries are where Neimoidians keep their offspring, so they basically killed babies.
Either way, think about what you'd like in return. if you'd still like to go through with the trade

Valid point. I disagree with how the clones are treated as disposable when they are sentient beings... and bad bad clones. I side with Palpy on his ability to unify the galaxy (which of course the Rebels went and ruined and that lead to tons of lives lost because of an invasion a unified galaxy could have stopped). I may not always agree with his methods of doing so, but you gotta admire the man for his ability.
