I'm sure, Kishi knows very well what he is doing... giving us such panel just before a gap/ no-chapter week... just to create antecipation
But I really fear that next chapters might focuses on Obito/Kakashi... it would be terrible! But it shows he knows that everyone is excited to see Madara and the Hokages

I fully understand that, I mean.... the excitement. OMG... Madara has been forever in the manga, and he was always so stern, bored... nothing drew his attention for more than a few seconds.... and now, he is like that! It is as you said, surely great things will come, you can feel it
An all the hype he gave Hashirama all that time... they will surely wreak havoc, I can't wait to see that
