Just recently saw Earthshock.I used parts of the hymn Abide with me, which they use more than once in Doctor Who. For this I first sketched and inked and did the calligraphy, then put a transparent golden acrylic gesso wash over it, reinked him, and colored with copic markers. I'm very happy with it; I think I got a likeness and the color and texture turned out just like I wanted. Due to this and the emotional context, critique is discouraged.
Some of you might be beginning to notice a sudden proliferation of Adric art in your devwatches. That's what happens when you watch three close-knit sisters who together discover an awesome, moving, adorable and attractive character. ^_^
I have heard that there are aggressive Adric haters out there. It's not my job to comprehend how this can be possible, but only to hide any such comments with extreme prejudice and block the commenters if they persist.

oh, this is beautiful ;u; adric is one of my favourite companions, when I watched earthshock the other day I cried like a waterfallΒ though the storyline in the rest of the serial is definitely one of my favourites I must say c':

I like Adric not love but like, he was good. I just saw earthshock too. It was the last 5th doctor episode i needed to see.

I'm not sure if I can watch Earthshock as I have sort of adopted Adric as my fictional son and whenever he gets hurt or turns evil, I scream "NO MY CHILD". I also tend to act a bit like River so... Yeah, god only knows what I'll do.

This is a very beautiful tribute to a very great character. I don't understand why so many people disliked Adric. He was that type of character who just wanted to be accepted by The Doctor and find a place amongst his friends. Earthshock made me cry so much when I first watched it, so seeing this picture makes me feel a little bit better.

We are currently watching the Peter Davison ones, and they are in general really good. I also like the Patrick Troughton ones I've seen. Here are some of my favorite story arcs (it's far from comprehensive, and mostly from the Peter Davison era cuz that's what I've seen most of):
The Dalek Invasion of Earth
Tomb of the Cybermen
State of Decay
Keeper of Traken through Castrovalva (they go together)
Black Orchid
Earthshock (if you watch this be sure to watch everything from Full Circle through Black Orchid first.)

I encourage you to explore further, since I haven't gotten very far either. ^_^ (haven't seen any John Pertwee or Colin Baker era. Yet.

In the television show Doctor Who, he was a young mathematician from the planet Alzarius who stowed away on the time-traveling spaceship belonging to the Doctor, our main character. Adventures ensued. (or, continued, as the show had already been running for over a decade at this point.)
