Amazing the way things change. Only 10 or 11 years ago I was there. We camped close and spent most of the morning there. We didn't see a single other person. As much as I love people seeing and valuing our amazing natural wonders, the tourist numbers are certainly an unwanted side effect.
Great shot, the colours are just perfect.

So that's what the real one looks like. Our city zoo, in their Desert Dome building recreated something like this for part of the desert half of the building.

I've always wanted to go here. You've used the right technique in removing the people from the shot. My only critique is you could have panned to the left to get those trees in frame, that would balance the scene more and take less focus off the foreground which isn't adding much to the shot.

I was having enough trouble as it was being perched on the side there (it was a steep slope)and if I had of panned left I would definitely have had tourists in the shot as that is where they were resting after "surfing" the wave.

Dig that. I am looking at an nd1000 right now. Trying to convince myself it is completely necessary.

Tourist ruin alot of my shots. Usually cause they could care less about a shot or wont control their children
