This is a RETRO piece but I didn't feel the place for that word was in the title. In 2014 we lost Xodlirv, a magnificent yarn-spinner and story-weaver of whom you are all absolutely familiar with, at least by his works if not his name. His Merciless Tales were among the first writings I came across in MTJ's market and he co-produced several remarkable things, among them the GALS, with fellow industry legend sandrock74

Some of my boldest steps into inking with confidence began with this image. It's bittersweet but poetic, and somewhat proud, to think that it was done in reverence of a brother in the community.

Please enjoy. And take from this that life is a wonderful thing, for all its ups and downs, and that we're still here to enjoy it and continue creating wonderful things, including and beyond fetish art, and sharing them with others.
