Description Adam woke up with a gasp. His head was pounding, and his stomach felt like it was gnawing its way out of his body. Adam closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. When he opened them up again he looked around and tried to figure out what was going on.

His eyes were slowly adjusting to the dim lighting. He was lying on what felt like some kind of rough wood. It looked like he was lying on a flat surface, but there were large dark oddly shaped hills not far away from him.

“What?” Adam muttered to himself. He stood up and slowly walked closer to one of the objects. This one was probably about three times as tall as he was, but oddly skinny. The top part looked like it had some kind of shade on top of it. As his eyes adjusted better, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

“That’s not possible.” Adam looked at one of the other objects. This one was shaped roughly like a cube, but lying on top of it was another longer part that almost crossed the cube like a ‘T.’

“No.” Adam turned around. Everywhere he looked were things that were completely normal everyday objects, except that they were giant sized.

Then the lights came on. Adam’s still pounding head refused to accept this fact, and Adam’s head swam for a second. He recovered quickly though, and slowly opened his eyes bit by bit. He really wished he hadn’t.

Now that he was able to see, he realized that he was in a hotel room or something. There was only one large bed with a nightstand next to it. The TV was across from the bed, and there was a table in the far corner. On the other end of the room was the thing that had frozen Adam’s blood.

It was a giant.

Adam was at least sort of able to handle large inanimate objects. After all, it was certainly possible to build things that were larger than they should be. He remembered seeing pictures of giant sized chairs, and even shoes. But he wasn’t able to handle the fact that the mountain moving towards him was in fact a living, breathing, person.

Adam screamed and made a break for it. He turned and ran for the cube he had seen earlier. It was actually a giant old school telephone. Adam felt the table under him shake as the giant stomped its way toward him.

“Adam! Wait!”

As if. He didn’t actually even register that the giant had used his name. He just needed to get away from that thing. He grabbed the line running out of the telephone, and started climbing down.

“God damn it!” The giant’s voice rumbled through Adam’s body. It sorts of felt like he was standing in front of a bass speaker. He could literally feel the sound in his chest. Adam scurried down the phone cable as quick as he could. Thankfully he knew how to do this thanks to his being in the scouts.

The giant grabbed the building sized chair that was blocking his path to Adam, and threw it to the side. Adam nearly lost his grip on the cord when the chair bumped against the desk. He managed to keep going though, and reached the floor.

He looked up and saw that the giant was bending down, and climbing under the desk trying to get at him. Adam looked around for an escape, and saw one. There was a hole in the wall behind the desk. Adam dashed for the sanctuary. If he could get in the hole he would be safe. The giant couldn’t fit in the walls.

“Adam, just hang on a second!” This time Adam recognized that the Giant had used his name. He glanced behind him only to see a car sized hand coming straight for him. Adam yelped and dived.
He managed to avoid being grabbed for the most part, but it wasn’t enough. Adam felt a sudden tightening around his neck, and then he was rocketing backward through the air. The giant must have gotten a hold of the hood of his hoodie. For just a moment he was in freefall, then he was surrounded by warm flesh.

Adam didn’t have the words to describe how it felt to be completely enclosed in another person’s fist. He scratched, punched, kicked, and even bit, and none of it seemed to faze the giant one bit. It was oppressively hot. He was sweating buckets because of the run, the fear, and the heat.

Adam felt that the giant was moving. It was like being on a roller coaster, only not being able to see where he was going. Adam was struck by a serious case of motion sickness. He gagged a few times and was dry heaving. If there had been anything in his stomach, it definitely would have ended up on the giant’s hand.

Then the fist opened.  Adam immediately started rolling. Then he was falling. The giant must have been standing up when he had opened up his fist.

“Shit boy!”

The giant must have had lightning fast reflexes because Adam collided with the Giant’s other hand. The air was forced out of his lungs on the impact. This time Adam just lay there. He sucked in air, trying to re-inflate his lungs.

“Adam, calm down.” The giant said. Adam refused to look at the giant. The teenager just closed his eyes, and tried to recover. He recognized the pain in his neck as whiplash. That had probably had happened when the giant had grabbed his hoodie. He felt some lesser pains in other places as well. Probably just bruises.

“Adam, look at me.” The command was firm. The giant was clearly used to being obeyed. Adam wasn’t about to go along with anything the giant said though. He just curled in on himself.

The giant sighed. Adam felt movement again. He opened his eyes and glanced around. It was then that he realized that he was trembling. His body apparently was not okay with being in the giant’s palm. Or maybe it was the giant that was shaking. Adam wasn’t really sure. He saw that the giant was sitting down at the table that Adam had seen on the far side of the room before.

The giant’s palm was suddenly leaning to the side, and Adam rolled off it. He hit the table at an odd angle and felt his wrist protest. Adam gasped in pain. He looked around and realized that the giant had cleared the table of everything. There was nothing that he could use to escape. Nothing he could use to get to the ground. He was stuck on the expanse of wood.

“Adam.” Adam took a deep breath, and finally looked at his giant captor.

The giant was sitting at the table, but he was still looming over Adam. Adam couldn’t help but feel completely insignificant in the giant’s presence. It didn’t help that the giant was staring at him with an intensity that made Adam shake where he was sitting.

The giant was very rough looking. He had a stubble beard and mustache, with dark brown hair. His eyes were a light brown, but they were dark with some emotion that Adam couldn’t read well. It almost looked like the giant was feeling guilty. The giant was wearing a heavy jacket over a lighter jacket, and a denim shirt.

“Adam.” Now that Adam was actually paying attention. He realized that the giant’s voice was full of emotion as well. Again Adam got the impression that the giant was feeling guilty about something.

“Do … do you know who I am?” The giant asked.

Adam realized that he was slowly inching away from the giant. He was still shaking like crazy, and was absolutely terrified. His backing away was also to try and fit more of the giant in his sight though.

Adam curled in on himself and his adrenaline spiked as the giant reached toward him again. After a minute he opened his eyes again, and saw that the giant had just been setting his hand on the table rather than grabbing him. Adam stood up, and backed away from the hand. He knew he couldn’t go anywhere, and he knew that anywhere on the table was easily in reach of the giant. But the teenager still needed the distance.

“Please, Adam, just stop for a minute.” The voice was gritty and firm. Adam stopped. It was almost a reflex.

“Can you please look at me?” The giant asked. Adam slowly turned so that he was facing the giant.

“Do you know who I am?”

Adam shook his head. His brain was still racing, trying to figure out what was going on. He only remembered having breakfast with his Mom.

Adam suddenly went numb. His Mom. He remembered the witch. He remembered holding his mother in his arms. Adam couldn’t feel anything. He knew he should be feeling something, but there was just nothing.

“Adam.” Adam slowly looked up at the giant. The giant flinched, and Adam wondered what his face must look like right now.

“Adam.” The giant started again after he recovered. “My name is John Winchester, and I’m your father.”

Oh. I thought it was going to be Dean. But that explains why he didn't have Sam come explain things.

Yeah, things would have gone much smoother if it had been Dean. But Dean wouldn't have known about Adam so that wouldn't really have worked well. Plus this is a bit more interesting if you ask me. Don't worry though, Sam and Dean will arrive eventually.
