Because I'm sick of tired of "people of God" saying this.The real sin is intolerance. Calling someone a sinner for who (s)he is. And please, do not wash your hands saying "Oh, but we are all". It's like I call you an idiot and then say "But we all are idiots" it does not take away the insult.
God is not all about love?? Then what can be wrong with love?? I'm bisexual because I see no difference within gender, they are all the same to me and I care about the person. And LOVE, in my opinion, can be find in anyone, a woman or a man. How can that love be wrong?? It just can't.
Also, because it appears in the Bible doesn't mean it is. Remember this the Bible was written by MAN who CLAIMED it to be God's words. I can write a book too and say the same, but it does not make it true. You see, the Bible was in fact handled at care. For example, jews tradition of cutting the prepuce comes than when they were all in the desert, within the prepuce and the skin dirt was acummaleted, and by higiene they have to cut it. So they would all accept they insrt in the Bible. That's was something good that came out by necesitty. But we all know that not all men are honest and that corruption existed for a long, long time.
Everytime you say that homosexuality is a sin you are making one more step to hell.
Why, because you are bineg a bad person, huting others. Even if you don't say, just not accepting it. Saying that it isn¡t "okey".
Also, please, don't say that it is not natural. There is plenty of homosexuality in nature. In fact, they are a grouo of lizards who they are all women. They engange in sexual activities within themselves to get pregnant. And taht's natural. Also, if we were only to accept what is natural, incest, a father sleeping with his daughter is fine. Is natural, right?
Isn't a Christian about being a good person?? Then rethink what you are saying and exactly in what are you believing...
Stop saying that homosexuality is a sin, because it just is NOT!
And I wrote this with anger, because I'm tired, of people who believing themselves saint, are behaving exactly the opposite. Whenever you say that Lucifer smiles!

I don't think a real God has anything to do with what is or isn't sin. For all I know, sin might not even exist.
The bible was written by a bunch of old men with beards and sandals, and THEY decided what is considered sin.
The concept of "sin" was created by humans and there's no legit evidence to prove that it came from a real God.
Religion was always influenced by both social and political motives, and all these homophobic rules were spawned by a political anti-Pagan movement by monotheist religions. Homosexuality was a part of some Pagan rituals, so they decided that anything that had to do with Paganism was suddenly a sin. I don't really know if that's pure fact, but it's what I read at least.
And maybe if the concept of sin really does exist, what if homophobia is the REAL sin all along? I'd just love to see the reactions of those hardcore homophobes when they die and meet their creator just to find out they're going to hell for their hate and bigotry.

Because apparently, a bunch of old men decided one day that homosexuality would be a sin,
and ever since, their "wise" decision has caused more harm to this world. And THAT should be a sin.

Well, I know that only God can decide what is sin. But the thing is, no living person has actually seen or spoken to God, so they can't just go around forcing their own beliefs down people's throats as if they were the actual words of God. Because they just don't know! And as far as I know the only thing that should be considered real sin is causing harm to others, which is exactly what the homophobes are doing. So, in my opinion, homophobia is the real sin. But somehow I still doubt that a real God casts cruel and unusual punishment to his creations. That's basically why I question the existence of sin itself. Cause if a real all-loving God exists, I still think he'd forgive people even if they'd done wrong. I just strongly don't believe in the concept of hellfire and brimstone, etc. Maybe the sinners pay up for what they did in the form of reincarnation or something, but I really don't think Hell or Heaven exists....

Its fine. We all have different beliefs. And there are some stories of near death experiences where they went to heaven and spoke to God, but we just have to find out for ourselves when it's time.

even like in the bible intolerance is treated sinfully... Jesus didnt treat sinners badly, because that is not the way... Christians often have a hard time learning from example of the people in the bible, on many levels I consider myself christian... and I learned a lot more by observing the lives of the people (or possibly charaacters) of the bible, than I did by listening to what they say.

Reading any translation of the bible may do many things, but they will certainly not make you understand anything. Anything but the blissful ignorance in which religious people live, at least.
As to homosexuality ... why does it even concern you? It's their business, not yours. If they want to marry, let them marry. They don't want to marry you, after all, so it's none of your damn business, is it?
