wow, the detail is amazing!
yeah, I'm simply nowhere near good enough yet to try that... so is there any way I could convince you to make a template of/like this that I could use on an RP forum? we'd credit you of course

You've encountered a WILD Firequill!
Tiny sprites make for wonderful avatars.

I ALREADY SAID HOW AMAZING I THOUGHT THIS WAS.
I mean... When you said that you were drawing some sprite of YOURSELF, I didn't expect it to be so... *detailed* and like... good-looking (GUH I NEED MORE WORDS)!
It's especially impressive since it's on such a small scale though! (And I copied and pasted it into Photoshop because it would be FOOLISH not to look at it in such detail!)
And, uh... uh! I want to try something like this myself now!
I bet I don't though because I'm LAZY and even if I tried I doubt I'd come close to THIS in quality! D:
(ENVY! =_
Also, though I probably wouldn't FOLLOW a tutorial of yours for making sprites because I don't use art tutorials (NOBODY TELLS ME HOW TO BE CREATIVE!!1 =_, I WOULD be interested in knowing how you did this at least! Well, one aspect of it... I mean, I have to use "Indexed Colour Mode" to not end up with blurry edges; I don't know how to draw clean single pixels in the normal mode thing! And Indexed Colour severely limits the amount of colours, so every time I want to add a new shade I have to switch modes again, add the new colour, then switch back...
So, uh... do you use Indexed Colour mode, or are you able to draw clean single pixel things some other way? o_O
...What a stupidly long comment! I should've just said this instead:
"DUDE SO AWSUUUUM!!"

I've never used Indexed Colour mode EVER. o_O
Instead there's like... if you right-click on the paintbrush tool thing, you can chose the *pencil tool* which is clean pixel STUFF. So yes! There's the meaning of life for you! No more mysteries HERE left to solve! I SHALL BE SHIFTING TO A DIFFERENT PLANE OF EXISTENCE NOW.

It's all about scribbling things all zoomed-in like that *might* look like details and then zooming out! Oh, the many zoomings and unzoomings! o_O
But yes, I was considering making a sprite tutorial thinger at some point, though apparently I keep forgetting about doing that (or so much as re-opening the tutorials section on my website which I said I would do ages ago after renovating the whole place...) so yes! At least now I know that people (or at least one person) is interested in such a thing and that's good enough for me!
THANKS FOR THE COMMENT AND STUFF!!@AT
