HRM. I wanted to maybe try colouring uh... DIFFERENTLY or something (I DID, but I wasn't experimental enough and didn't get an interesting effect as a result of that...) and uh... this is the result, I suppose. All the... Firequill was drawn on the same layer in solid colours. This includes the "lineart."Related content

Awwie, I think tose effects at the background are AWESOME! This pic contains great colors, I like the way you colored Firequill and that pose is looks vivid. absolutley fantastic work.

This is gorgeous. Especially the wings and bright colors. The only critique I can give is the lengthy bits tail feathers look a little confusing, but the picture as a whole rocks my socks.

Hey, wow that came out great! So you're trying doing everything on one layer huh? I used to do that, but found it easier in the end to use layers, especially when you go back and change/fix things. But heck, in the real world, all you've got is one piece of paper or canvas so it works to do it this way digitally too. As always, awesome coloring/pose/shading/Quillyness and I likes it!

Firstly, when I saw this, I thought "hmm... o_O", probably, because it's, uh... WELL.
IT IS IMPRESSIVE, I'd definitely say that! IT MAKES ME JEALOUS because it's well-drawn in a realisticallyish-anatomy way thing... I can never draw bird poses or bird wings or anything but you did a DYNAMIC pose that's not just YOU STANDING THERE, and you did it well!
It's also interesting to see the different STYLE this rendition of YOU (BECAUSE YOU LOOK LIKE THAT... =_
And the... god-like expression?
BUT HRM. It's well-drawn and well-coloured and everything, but it's not AN ORIGINAL IMAGE... It's basically just what's essentially a FANTASY CREATURE just POSING there... o_O
Though it's not like I don't do that MYSELF, so I can hardly act like you are in some way LESSER for doing that... o_O
I mean, recently I've certainly been thinking of drawing PSEUDOLONEWOLF just POSING there in a way like this, but I can't do that because I can't DRAW anatomically well so I'm certainly jealous of your abilities! D:
But, uh... I bet people like this, anyway, because it's something they can understand! Sometimes lack of 'originality' is good...? o_O
AS FOR THE TECHNICAL ASPECTS... I admire the fact that it's all drawn on one layer, ohyes! : D

It's coloured and drawn in a very FIREQUILLIAN way, as always; I'd certainly recognise it as YOURS if I didn't know you drew it! (MANELY CUZ ITS A PIC OF U LOL. o_O)
But, uh... I said before that I like the WINGS, because I DO, and the HEAD FEATHERS are interestingly long! It gives it a sort of FEEL to it... More... NOBLE or DIVINE or something?!
HOWEVER, the TAIL FEATHERS... I really like the ENDS of them, but the STRINGLY BITS are like... flatly coloured and really stand out... hmm! o_O
Anyway, uh... THIS IS TOTALLY A COMMENT FROM ME!
I wonder though what you were expecting my reaction to be... Did I respond as predicted?!? Did you delay submitting it because of what *I* might think, or for OTHER reasons?! o_O

Uhh... What WAS I going to say...? Right, something about how it's indeed not incredibly amazing or original or anything and I delayed submitting it because of that and what you'd think of... that! Yes! Actually, I regretted telling you I'd submitted it right after I... told you because it sort of forced you into a RESPOND TO IT position and it's really not that great! Though I also wanted to point out that I'd delayed submitting it?!/ o_O
I wouldn't draw in this sort of... way... uh... often. Or even ever again maybe. Though it was easier than I thought it would be. o_O
I didn't mention drawing it all on one layer to impress you (surprisingly?1/ o_O) and instead uh... said it as a... uh... SOME sort of statement about the uh... ridiculous number of layers people sometimes use for the simplest of images and uh... something?? (Though I do like having things on separate layers just so I can hide those layers so I can see the image without certain parts and... DIFFERENT?!/ Like listening to game midis and muting different instruments! o_O)
Those tail... swirly... thing... bits bother me also! Yes! But I didn't feel like getting rid of them after I added them?! Other bits bother me as well, but I wouldn't be accomplishing anything by describing them! Ohno! Not even a SMALL anything! Tsk! o_O

Most of this comment is pessimistic! It must reflect my mood right now! Gasp! You'd think it would be the opposite of that! o_O

But (AND HERE COME THE EXCUSES!!) it's so much more difficult for me to comment on music than on images and I always feel like my comments on such long ardrungs should be massively long because uh... then the comment would be in proportion to the size of the submission or something! I don't know! Stop asking questions! D:
I'll probably comment on it tomorrow. If I don't, I should be strapped to a whale. It would be an itchy, woolly whale. I think that's a suitable punishment for such an offense.)
