The creature IS the flames!1! Or something... It's a... many-headed beakish thing with SKELETAL FEATURES...!! Or at least, I TRIED to make it look like it had visible vertebrae... Hopefully that's what people will SEE those bits as! o_ORelated content

Wow, very nice, this one is kinda creepy in a way. Looks really good, great work with the style. I love the colors and the fire effects, as well as the colors.

WHEN I SAW THIS, I WAS AMAZED because of how HOT and FLAMEY it looks! It looks far, far more fiery than MY attempt at a Fire Elemental Dragon thing! o_O

I really, REALLY like those flames! The COLOURS, the sense of HEAT about it all... You did an excellent job of portraying TEMPERATURE and FEELING and MOOD, ohyes! o_O
And you're going even further than I do with your... making the background BE the creature and not focusing on anatomy! Because I can't even really make out AN CREATURE in THIS, but can tell that THE FLAMES THEMELVES are alive and a BEING and... yes! I like that! : D
(IT INSPIRES ME to try to do that more too...)
I really like the thin, spindly, HOT claw things! They really look like they're emerging from the flames and that they're burningly hot, and I can imagine them writhing and groping around rather creepily and MENACINGLY or something... o_O
The heads, too... I can imagine it looking really... WILD if it were moving, which is apt for flames, of course!
And again, no eyes...! XD
And no BODY or... GENERIC QUADRUPEDAL, SYMMETRICAL FORM or anything! Multiple heads! I like THAT! : D
I'm trying to look for a hint of a BEARD though, but can't see anything... XD
The SWORD is an interesting addition that does indeed seem to create a sense of BALANCE, what with the flames in the upper right corner that would, uh, CREATE IMBALANCE if it weren't for the sword! Yes! o_O
I just really, really like the colouring of this though! It looks distinctly STYLISED, distinctly FIREQUILLIAN, and creates that wonderful HEAT feeling much, MUCH better than I've ever been able to! And I like the highlighted ribs/vertebrae on the heads, and the sparkish things coming from their mouths...
So yes! You're doing these elemental things so well! This one's HOT!
As always when I see these things, I think "I AM PROUD TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THAT PERSON!! : D"
Though I'm also JEALOUS... XD

I AM RESPONDING TO THIS AFTER ONE AGE. (It's been like... FOUR DAYS?! D: I should have just responded right after you wrote it! o_O)
BUT UH! AGAIN, STRONG FEELINGS OF ": D" AND GLADFULNESS AND SATISFACTION because an art thing is only SATISFYING if YOU like it!1 =_= (Because it's the opinion of OTHERS that's important!11 o_O)
But huzzah! I'm INSPIRING in some way!! And that... DRIPPING LAVA from that... bottom left one's chin is... ALMOST like a beard!!11 (Not that I was TRYING to add something that even vaguely resembled a beard..! (Really, I wasn't. o_O))
And uh... uh... uh...! KNOWING THINGS LOOK DISTINCTLY LIKE SOMETHING I MADE MAKES ME GLADDENFUL'D, AS YOU KNOW! So hurrah! : D
