Wow this picture is amazing, I'm wondering if you would mind terribly if i used this as a refference for a tattoo that i'm getting, its my first tattoo and i'm searching for pictures that fit my vision and this is perfect.

This is a superb work of mind. Very talented. Usually phoenixes are portrayed as fiery-red birds (possibly of their connection to Fire), but you have made a golden-colored one, with the fire element in the background. By the way, not only the raging flames, but the feathers of the Phoenix seem to have been worked on a level of detail so high I'd reckon this image must have taken days to be completed.

I really dig this rendition of the phoenix. The detail in all the feathering is very neatly done and very effective, and the stylized flame is strange but fitting with the drawing of the bird. Because of that strong styling the airbrushed glow coming off it does not fit. Brightness on the bird gives it that shining feel like on the front part of the wings but I would rather use the same style as the flame for hte golden trailing yellow blobs. Awesome pic!
