Young Riolu doesn't quite understand its own strength yet.I always thought it's funny, when your opponent does a move like Take Down that also hurts itself and then ends up doing more damage to itself.
EDIT: I draw the comic like this, because I didn't remember that Riolu doesn't gain the Steel-type until it evloves into Lucario XD FAIL!! So just think it has a high defence or something XD

Half the damage is dealt to the user of the move. No more, not less. Soooooooooo... it can't deal himself more damage than what it dealt.

A cute mistake and I've always wondered as to why specific moves don't hurt more depending on the type that's hit with recoil damage. Since a normal type, or any other type that's not ghost, should gain more recoil damage from striking specific types of pokemon (IE Steel, Rock.) But great job on the comic.

Yeah, I somehow though that Riolu would be Steel-type too and was too lazy to check it X3 At least I learned to always double check things before putting them to public XD

Funny! But moves like that never do more damage to yourself... Unless when the jump kicks miss. I find it hilarious when a hitmonlee tries to jump kick me and ends up killing itself XD

From Iron Island. YOu have to clear with with Riley and have one space free. Once done, he will give you an egg, that will hatch to Riolu. And don't worry about finding it. It comes along the story
