Okay, so I've been trying to do an entry for 's ID contest for......like, ever.
Naturally, finally, two days before the deadline (at least I think; I hope I haven't missed it all entirely, but I think I'm getting this in right under the wire), I come up with a sketch I like enough to paint.
I like this club--it's nice to see a club that supports a character instead of being against them or keeping them away from another character or trying to murder them or something totally stupid like that.
The fonts on this piece are Triforce (new favorite font) and UppenArms, if anyone's interested.

tell me about it, what's wrong with people hating Sam. I mean if they love Danny, I'd understand, heck I'm in love with Tucker, but that's no reason to hate Sam just because she is crushing on Danny. Even if they're more of DxV fans or other girls. Sam is an important character of the show and saved Danny's butt even is the character at times that tells Danny what's right or wrong. Same with Tucker, he's also funny at the same time. Both of his best friends including his sister Jazz are important characters and deserve to be treated with respect.

And I agree with penguin, both sam and Paulina get too much fan abuse. I think we're one of the few DP fans that don't bash characters/don't hate paulina. o_o

I never, never see the point in character bashing. I mean, hell, I didn't like everybody in my graduating high school class, either, but we all lived through it at least. *chuckles.* I don't think I'd be friends with Paulina, but that doesn't mean I can't have myself a real good laugh at her antics.

The purple one is called Triforce (it's also the font I used on my avatar over there) and the red one is called Uppenarms. I love playing with fonts, some of them are wicked.
I don't know why people hate Paulina so much! I think she's funny. That Sayonara Pussycat bit still cracks me up every time!

I have an inkling of why people hate Paulina so much. One, Danny has (had?) a crush on her, at least for most of season one and two. More competition for other pairings involving Danny, cannon or non-cannon. Which is also why you see a lot of Sam bashing. Secondly, Sam doesn't like her, and there sure seem to be an awful lot of people out there who try to be copycats of Sam, like what she likes and hate what she hates. =/
Paulina's not that bad of a character. She's like just about every girl I knew in middle school was--into cutesy things, like kittens, obsessing over their celebrity crush, and basically being sweet to everyone...unless someone gets on their bad side, in which case they become mortal enemies for life...or at least until they learn to grow up. Nothing wrong with that I can see; she plays her popular girl role and does a pretty good job of it. And I agree, she does make me laugh. 'Course, Sayonara Pussycat would be hilarious no matter what...I'm a sucker for a good parody. xD Ah, yes, What You Want was a good episode. ('Smatter o' fact, it was the first one I saw all the way through. ^^)

What I like about Paulina is that she's different; she fills a spot that's important--we all know girls like her. We're friends with girls like her, or we're enemies of girls like her. I had a friend once who was very much like Paulina, and our fundamental differences of opinion resulting in the end of our friendship--I couldn't stand how she would conspire to hurt others; but for so many seasons she was my friend, and as such I loved her in spite of herself.
That's what makes me smile about life. Some people you love for themselves, and others you love in spite of themselves, but you love them all the same--they're part of what makes you, you.
What I don't like about Paulina is that she does conspire to hurt others; she knows the difference between right and wrong and sometimes consciously chooses to do wrong. But hell, who doesn't at one point in their life?
The problem with people is that they make judgments without all the evidence, that's all, and I'm never going to be able to break an entire human race of that habit no matter how I try. 
I really liked What You Want. Tucker could be oh so naughty, though! Doing bad things and having fun with it--made me laugh.
