How does Rarity get herself into this kind of predicament? It's one thing to design for her friends, who were extremely demanding, but to design for her own family, whom have no fashion sense whatsoever? It's a miracle she's still standing.
Quick note: according to the wiki, Rarity's parents have been named Magnum and Pearl by the fans. I can definitely see where they're going with that.
By the way, before anyone asks about the outfits, let it be known that I'm not one for fashion, either. Consider them working prototypes, okay?

Where are they going, with the names Magnum and Pearl? I don't get the reference. The name seemed kinda random to me. I'm like, "is he supposed to look like Tom Selleck? 'Cause he doesn't, really... well, if I squint... nah."

Rarity and Sweetie get lots of love from the fandom, but their parents are pretty neglected. I think Rarity finds them eternally embarrassing and frustrating, yet loves them even so.

Nice work, particularly on the show-accurate shadows and the dressform! Sweetie Belle's bodiless head is a little unexpected, though - maybe add her front hoofs either side, or have her mane fall behind the doors to add depth-positioning?
(And I'm almost certain we should be able to see something in the mirror behind Magnum's tail...)
