Description "Rogan had gotten up that morning on the wrong side of the horde. Grumbling and growling deep in his throat, he shuffled out of his room and into the kitchen for a badly needed cup of coffee."

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not a morning person. I know exactly how Rogan here feels, with the exception it would be a steaming cup of tea for me, not coffee. XD

Thats a great piece!! I fully agree with you on the morning thing,I have to get up at 4:00am!!
But on my days off,I try not to get up till about 9:00am!!
I love tea,but in the morning its got to be COFFIE!!

Ouch, 4:00am, I don't think I could do that, I have a bad enough time getting up at 6:00am What do you do that you have to get up at such an ungodly hour?
Thanks, glad you it. He was originally going to be wearing fuzzy bunny slippers that were going to look just as happy as he was to be outa bed, but his feet came out so good that I didn't want to cover them. I may do a second version of this with the slippers.

I love the feet!! They turned out very well indeed!!It would be ashamed to cover them up,perhaps another Dragon with the slippers?
I drive a gas truck locally,you know deliver gas to all the gas stations.Now before you get ready to blast me for the high gas prices,I have nothing to do with that! I am like the Mail man,I just take the over priced stuff to the stations!! And no,I dont get any discounts.Wish I did!!

I would never have jumped down your throat for that, I know you delivery guys have no control over the price of gas. It would be like shooting the messenger. I almost guessed that you delivered news papers cause I know they have to get up pretty damn early too. That would be sweet if you got a discount on the gas. I don't know what it is up by you, but it's between 3.97 and 4.30 here, it all depends on which station you get it from.

Youre in N.Carolina,right? Im in Virginia,and go there quiet often to the stations around Elizabeth city,and Naggs head.The price is pretty much the same here!! It cost $60.00 the last time I filled my truck up!!{79 chevy pick up} It used to only cost $20.00,before the gas companies decided to get rich off the pore man!!

Close, you're on the right coast. I'm from New England, CT to be precise. If the gas prices are this bad in CT I'd hate to see what they are in NY City. I drive a little Sunfire, it used to cost me around $15.00 bucks to fill it. This past weekend it cost me $50.00 bucks. I gotta remember to try and get gas in the morning when it's cooler. That way I'll be getting more gas for my money.

Yes,you do get more for the buck that way,also if you time it right,you just might get it before they raise the price that day.Prices change a the terminals after midnight each day!
New England,why did I think North Carolina?....Im a dope!!Sorry,I know of a couple of artist who are from there and must have mixed them up. Yes Ive heard gas in New York is at $5.00 per gallon,and still climbing!!My wife has a Kia rio,that thing now costs $33.00 to fill!Use to only cost $10.00!!
It seams like all of my pay just gos to gas!! Want to here a real shocker? I here England,and other European Countries are paying close to $15.00 per gallon!! Ill start walking if it gets that high!!

Yeah, this is exactly how I feel in the morning. THe idea for this picture just popped into my head at work, almost fully formed. Rogan was originally going to be wearing bunny slippers that looked just about as happy as he did to be up that early, but I did such a good job on the feet I didn't want to cover them up. I'm trying to get into the habit of drawing all the lines in the picture when I'm sketching it out, even if I'm going to erase them later. That way I know where everything is suppose to be. I ink over the lines I'm going to keep and erase everything else. The bunny slippers got erased. This is also my first real attempt at a background, which is why it's so simple. I think it still needs work, but it doesn't look to bad.

Aww the ducky really loves it, and that's how I pretty much look in the morning when 6:00 am rolls around!! I guess that's the Darkwing Duck in us, eh? Ya really did an awesome job sketching, and sometimes I will do that too when drawing Darkwing--sketch his body or feet in one position, then change it later. Then I will make copies of it once I am happy and practice drawing me next item--such seeing how the background will look, or a new article of clothing, etc. I really love your art
