Glad you like it Judy They come is many other colours, yellow/brown. yellow, lilac, orange, I have had a white for over a year and it is sulking and has not grown one bit..

They can get very invasive here too

Well it's spot on in my book. How long have you had your 40D? I am thinking of upgrading to an SLR and have been looking at the 50D. What lens do you use for flowers? Any input would be great.

I got it last year May I think Candace.. I always use my four year old cheaper Tamron 90mm Macro Lens for flowers and Insects I wanted to get the Canon 100mm Macro when I bought my first DSLR the 20D four years ago but could not afford it as I had to buy two other lens as well I wish I knew then what I know now..

Sometimes I use my Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 for the bigger wide flowers like roses but I prefer the macro as it blacks out or has great Bokeh at the back of them like that one above.. I always used my monopod too that helps so much with that lens..

Thanks Mary-Anne. There is so much to learn and so many choices in lenses. Talk about I have a monopod and a really flimsy tri-pod that I use with my S3 IS, but will have to look at getting a sturdier one if I get a new camera. The wish list is endless.

Thank You.. Taken with the macro lens against the underneath of the house made it look dark I wish it would happen more often..

Very Beautiful... despite it being all pink. I really like the shapes of the single flowers.

Thanks Hadrian..And for the also.
Yes they are nice the single flowers but very tiny.. I am not a pink person either and prefer the the orange with the brown better.

I was given a cutting of a white one over a year ago it hardly grown at all
