Thanks Hadrian, its a very slow tree to flower ( probably lacking water with the drought we had ) I have had it over four years and this is the first time it has flowered so its probably around six years old and only 2 mts tall.. In the next Suburb our Council have them as street plantings on the footpaths and they are a beautiful sight at present as they have large clusters of flowers not just one like that above..

I guess the wait was really worth it. And now that you've plenty of water again it surely will flower more often.
Do they come in different colours?

Yes it was.. Hard to believe I have not watered the garden for four weeks that's how wet it has been.. No not that tree Hadrian only the one colour a bright cheery yellow and the bees love it..

Thanks So Much I am glad you like it.
Its so different from some of our other Native Plants.. That branch are weighed down with flowers I had to hold it with my left hand and shoot with my right not so easy these days. Thankfully I managed to get one in focus.
