Note to everyone: Do read my RP/Story blurbs down below! Story is told there.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having a fascination behind the creativity that went into making accessories, Aya volunteered to help out at Chrys’s shop. She was vaguely familiar with the work crew in the shop minus the newest addition, a Banette named Gnasher.

Immediately after stepping into the shop, she was dragged into the back area and put to work by the strange ghost pokemon. He threw various bits and bobs all over the place muttering one thing or another. Most of it had to do with something being "wrong". "Wrong, wrong, wrong."

The Cyndaquil did her best to help out where she could, picking up after Gnasher and putting together some things here and there. While working with the ghost, Aya developed a lot of respect behind his creative mind. But dang it was a long journey.

Before taking her leave, the Cyndaquil traded in an accessory voucher for a supply of bandages. They would be helpful in case she, or Raggs, got injured in the future. With a tired and awkward smile (she tried to smile at Gnasher, but it ended up being a little lopsided), Aya waved good bye and left for home.

Artist notes:
Edit: Taking some advice from *SnowboardingTaco I've converted the file from an animated gif to a small looping flash video. Hopefully this improves the quality, though it's a bit smaller now.

More messing around with techniques while waiting to post E7. Unfortunately, this is one of those cards that looks better in person. There are a lot of little details that you can't see just here alone.

This looks great! A pop-up card is certainly a new direction and it looks great!

So awesome!

I don't think it's that you have a poor quality camera, it's more likely that it's just the colour conversion from jpg/png to gif. Gifs deeestroooy colours.

Thank you!

And I do believe you're right. I read a little about that when I was making my first animated gif and there doesn't seem to be a convenient fix for it alas. :< At least none that I could find. *Flop*

Perhaps you could submit it as a video or flash file? I'm not really sure how to do either, but it might work.

Well, I took your advice to heart and switched out the gifs with small looping flash vids. Hopefully this looks better! Thanks again for the input! <3

I've never made a flash file before. I'll need to look into the process! Since I'm mostly messing around with these, I opted for the quick method. >_>;

Unfortunately, dA doesn't have a convenient video submission process, but that is certainly an option. Thanks for the input!
