Here's a pic of the Solidor brothers together X3

I imagine Vayne as being about 19 and Larsa at age 4. (This is according to the assumption that Vayne is 27 and Larsa, 12 at the time of FFXII.)

Just sharing a quiet moment while Larsa draws with his crayons on his brother's desk (like the one seen in the ending, I guess Larsa inherited that bigass table from Vayne XD). The papers that Vayne has on the right are probably those orders he signed to dispatch his other brothers' executions. And that's my explanation for his wistful face as he watches his younger brother doodle something innocent, but all the things Vayne puts on paper are for the sake of ambition; hence the title.

Phew, long explanation, but just trying to explain the whole scenario.

I tried to make Vayne less old by reducing the number of wrinkles XD And overall softening his features. I also made his hair shorter and edited his armour a bit 8DD No stupid bat wings... they could poke lil' Larsa's eyes out...
Tried to draw Larsa some decent kiddie versions of his current shoes, but failed, that's why that part is left sketchy. The whole piece was just to focus on their facial expressions (took a long time to get Vayne's right, hope it was worth it!).

Done in pencils on 100gsm paper and edited in OC4Plus and PSP7.

Strangely... I drew this on a continuous loop of Justin Timberlake's Sexyback and Crazy Rainbow Star (OP opening) @_@
