EDIT: After thinking on it a whole bunch, I'm thinking Jet might end up my second character. She didn't have as many ties as Kite did organization-wise, and I can't stop thinking about his paranoid self XD So! Considering Jet would have an easier time adapting to the fall of Gwellian (minus the loss of some very important people), I'm going to assume she's just getting herself all settled in the first couple weeks, and meanwhile I'll be roleplaying Kite C:

FINALLY managed to get this done and wowa that was fun but painful XD All my tGO feels are rushing backkk and I feel like I've come a long way since I last drew this gal.
I've missed her and I'm excited for RTF ;u; The idea of working her way up to Master Dancer is supper exciting (though I hope it won't be hindered by my reluctance to spend dA points in a roleplaygroup?) and all the graphics are splendid already

The original group died a while back unfortunately :C there's been some attempts at a reboot but I never got back into it, but thanks so much for thinking she looks awesome <333

It was originally a group called The-Grimalkin-Oath, but the founder had some stuff come up irl and went inactive, so events stopped happening and over time people became less active. Eventually the group was closed, but a lot of people (myself included) had really adored our characters and the setting, so when the founder was back online more, she re-created it and called it RtF; it was the same world so people started bringing our characters back. Haha unfortunately the same thing happened again though, and after it shut down for the second time a lot of the original members didn't stick around. (At one point between this and now there was also an attempt at a steampunk version too I think, thought that one didn't make it past the initial set up)
I think some of the old members are the ones who started trying to revive RtF, but the founder herself is back a third time and made Grimalkins-Oath again, but I don't think it's as busy as it was "back in the day" haha

Mostly, yeah. A bit of it is also because a lot of the original members who had such meaningful relationships with my characters aren't around anymore.

There were a lot of characters that made it for me, for Jet she had bonds with Misto* and Haven and Marshall that I was hoping to develop, and then my boy Kite had the whole crew of the BlueBlood Pirates that meant so much to his development from a 'fraidy cat. There was even a cute white lady he was getting to know, I think her name was Abigail? Hard to remember it's been a few years haha
It was the community as a whole for me, and since they've disbanded it's hard to find the motivation to develop my characters on a new path since it would mean they'd go through so much loss after these guys :') I'd never be able to roleplay the same characters again in a new setting after how far I got with them, and I've been too worried of inactivity to make a new character, so I guess that's kinda my predicament

( she definitely liked him a lot though, and after a few more dances like the one they had she probably would've thought a little harder about her feelings for him )
