It's a Channel 6 exclusive!I have been meaning to draw April O'Neil for a long time. This Slime Pit series may be my opportunity to do down and dirty drawings of a lot of girls that need to appear in my gallery. This is also my first attempt at anything using Copic markers. They are very pleasant.

I have probably the weirdest, wrongest concept of the Slime Pit, based largely on its single appearance in the She-Ra cartoon, where it was used simply to render She-Ra weak and powerless. So I'm not really interested in its probably intended use as a method of making slime slave creatures.
I did have the Slime Pit toy as a kid, but I don't remember how I played with it, which I assume means its play value was very thin once you got past the gimmickyness. My most vivid memory of the toy is setting the claw on fire... because burning toys was always a great pastime... and my best friend was a pyromaniac.

I didn't have any He-man stuff as a kid, I was into Gijoe, SW and Marvel. But always wished they did something like that for the Marvel toys.

GI Joe was probably my biggest toy collection, too. I had a bit of everything, but if I were to make a list of all my childhood toys, I imagine the GI Joe section would be the most comprehensive. I keep meaning to make some pics of Scarlett and Lady Jaye and Cover Girl and the Baroness, but... someday... when I find the time...

Right now my free time is devoted to home projects, but part of the goal of that is freeing up space to have multiple table/desk tops open for various drawing projects. In theory.
