So I recently found a "starry sky" tutorial that I wanted to try out because spaaaaaaace but all the instructions were for Photoshop so I kinda had to get creative using GIMP. It was still a lot of fun and now I'm all inspired to try more background work.Tutorial:

I remember when I still had photoshop, I loved making space art, it really is fun isn't it? This looks great by the way, purple skies always look fantastic

It really is! And with all the built-in effects (sparkles, lens flare, etc.) you can really do a lot of different types of space stuff. I really wanna try something with more blues and greens

lens flare are my favourite XD If I was allowed, I would be one of those crazy people who add them everywhere.

Thanks! Yeah it was fun and you can definitely change it up and use different colors and whatnot. I wanna try the Northern Lights or something, or maybe use the technique to redo that "Let Me Show You Something" drawing I did that one time since that part actually happens in Ronan
