Lovely, but I am habing difficulty sorting out what the focal point is. Maybe you should tighten up on some of the rocks and those small rapids?

Yeah, I have done loads of cropping adjusting etc etc with this one. Actually I was thinking of cropping even more, removing the rocks in front to bring the rocks in the middle more into focus. Thank you for the constructive comment

Nice composition, with the mix of colours and leaving the sky almost completely out of it. The sunlight coming through the trees in the background also adds a little extra to this shot.

I think the stream is the main focus, it give a sense of peacefull feeling. The brown death leaves and bare branches blend with the green grass reveal the change of season.

Make two borders
I use paint shop. First you add a silver(or some other colour) border at aboot 2 or 3 centimeters, and then the usual black one at 30 centimeters. The result is exactly what is shown in my photo. Just send me a message if you encounter any problems and I will help where I can

I think that oyu have made a superior effort to photograph this scene, I love fill flash to add add a little confusion in a landscape like this..Nice exposure control. The foreground rock night be a little to hot. But i dont think it hurts the overall presentation of the scene... outstanding!

a few things
-great title
-well done commentary with it
-the contrast (not in color but more in being) of the green moss and grass and the dead and downed pine needles / branches
-all the needles on the rocks is just great
-the non continuing of the stream in the background was a great touch, you look for it, ball all you see is more "noise"
-the look of the water only adds to this whole effect
-the non presence of the sky also adds a lot
