here is his brother. Literally. There are only 7 white alligators in the world and they all came from the same clutch of eggs found in Louisiana. The Houston Zoo has one of these alligators also. And another one is in New Orleans. I don't know where the rest are.

he is kept under a red light so that it does not hurt his eyes which are very sensitive to light.
