Aurora the Sleeping(?) Beauty, Maleficent the Evil(?) Fairy, and Diaval the Pretty(!) Bird, from Disney`s 2014 Maleficent.

Used in the creation of this picture: Letraset promarkers, colored pencils, a black ink pen (Faber-Castell ecco-pigment drafting and sketching pen 0.2), photo references (from the film` s promotional material & taken by me), my mother` s solid advice, some of Mark Crilley` s how-to-draw videos, a pencil with an eraser, a mechanical pencil, a scaner, a printer, a table with a lightbox, several sheets of white office paper, Photoshop.

I love the image and there is nothing wrong with the shape of anatomy, but Aurora's skin tone is a bit too yellow and Maleficent's is a bit too white (I know that's how she is on the posters, but in the actual movie she has a normal skin tone)
Other wise this piece is very beautiful and emotional. I only took points off originality because Maleficent is owned by Disney.
Now ranting so I can reach the 100 word minimum:

I agree about Aurora`s skin being too yellow. It didn't originally look this yellow, but after I scanned it and edited the colors in Photoshop I somehow missed it.
Maleficent is this pale on purpose though.
I was going for the poster paleness ^^ But it is probably too white...

I really love the pastel colors and the depiction of the close mother/daughter bond. The two of them flying really sets up a whimsical, freeing kind of feel and theme!
