I love the eerie atmosphere. Flying fishes my favourite.. and I love the fragile girl white color contrast with the dark lake nature background.. Amazing!

I tried to mention one thing that I think is not perfect but I failed. I actually love everything about this one! The whole composition is splendid. I don't know what you did to paint the water and the timber details, but damn, it's painfully good. The concept caught my attention immediately - I wonder whether it is a part of a story or a personal project of yours? Oh, and the Rembrandt-like surroundings (especially the woods) are a perfect touch. I am terribly sorry - it wasn't a constructive comment at all. Β

It is a lovely comment! Β I'm so glad you like it so much. Β It is a personal piece; with this (as with many of my pictures) I started with a small seed of an idea and let the painting evolve. Β There are many changes made throughout until I get it to the point where I'm happy it has reached the end of its journey and Β I can take the picture no further.Β
