Shortly after the August Revolution, NATO and European Economic Community rushed to face the new superpower, which has replaced the old one. In a show of force, later called "The Red Autumn", the USSS has taken over many breakaway countries. During few years, EEC has reformed itself into the European Alliance and incorporated most of the Eastern Europe. During the break of the millenium, Soviets managed to increase the Anti-EU support in the southern countries, using the argument, that EA is going to support only the East and so far benefiting South would have to pay. Similar feeling grew in the UK after NATO refused to continue the bloody campaign in Argentina. By 2005, most of the southern countries have left and communities willing to remain has splitted during bloody revolutions. By 2008, USSS bet everything on one card - an invasion of Romania. However, Romania decided to fight back and asked the EA for help. EA, fed up with almost two decades of USSS threats has decided to launch a referendum about a retalitory strike made by the European Army.
