Description
After the Great war (1916-1919), it was clear, that Austria-Hungary was at its way out. Despite having reclaimed parts of Northern Italy and annexing Serbia, overall populace was dissatisfied by the empire. German Kaiserreich, more powerful than ever, has made clear statements about the administration over the governorship of Poland and Ukraine, despite A-H having de facto right to co-govern them. With the death of Franz Joseph I in 1917, in the middle of the confict the world has never seen before, Franz Ferdinand takes office. After the war and the dissatisfying peace treaties, A-H economy slowly begins to deteriorate and national minorities, mainly Slavs, demand their right for independence or autonomy as their slavic brothers in the east got. After several treaties, the monarchy transformed into a constituational federation consisting out of 16 states.
