So, I watched Steven Universe the movie. And just like a lot of members of the fandom I really love Spinel, the sweet cartoon child I will protect forever. Also I have "Other Friends" on repeat.
Anyway, I had to draw her, and took the Opportunity to try to stick to the show's style (far different from my own). SPOILER ALERT FOR THE END OF THE MOVIE
I created this design for Spinel after she stars living with the diamonds. I feel like she would like to have all heir colors in her outfit as a tribute to them - and Steven. Striking a balance between her two previous designs and some new ideas wasn't easy, but I think I did okay!
Spinel is from the show Seven Universe, she belongs to Rebecca Sugar

I know some people don't like the ending, but I think it's nice Spinel gets a clean slate instead of having to stay on earth and explain over and over why she showed up with an injector of biopoison.

Hey Beach City forgave Peridot and Lapis. ah Beach city, the roughly 100 people town of the strange and forgiving. and besides if Beach city isn't to her tastes she can always go exploring the world! I really doubt anyone would go to Beach City as tourists if the events of the shows got out. especially with their kids like the lil twerps from Onion Gang.

Of course, and I know that. But considering what she just went through. I think it's nice for her to be in an environment where she won't be scared about people judging her. They probably wouldn't anyway but she might imagine it. And like she said, the Diamonds remind her of Pink in a good way! ^^
I understand why people would have liked her to stay on earth, but I am sure we will see more of her in the next seasons anyway! Maybe once she feels a little better.

probably because the Gems have been on earth for 6 thousand years. in modern times its probably all just dismissed as hoaxes and video editing like Ronaldo's blog. or Cryptids/Creepypastas for an IRL example.
