Yes, indeed... my very first ever emoticon!! I've always wanted to make one and here is my first attempt.

This took me a few hours and 76 frames.

Please let me know what you think! I know the animation isn't the smoothest and stuff, so go a little easy on me regarding that please. ^^

That's actually very good! For a first time you would expect a static emoticon or, if animated, just a blinking guy or something simple. You tried to go further and succeeded You did a great job on their expressions, and their movements feel right and believable, so you can be proud of yourself because your very first emoticon is very well done!
