I haven't uploaded anything in a while, so here's another picture from my shoot with the lovely =LiquidCocaine-Photos . I had a lot of fun running around as Lucy (although the boots made things a little difficult at times), with all the great FT cosplayers at Anime North. I can't want to bring her to Otakon with my beautiful Juvia (~PantySchatz ).

You got me interested in watching fairy tail...and at 150+ episodes, It's taking a long time to catch up. I don't know if i should thank you for introducing me to a great series, or glare for being setting the standards of lucy so high that the actual character cant live up to it...

do you do your own costumes? i'm doing a photoshoot soon and i'm looking at costume ideas and seeing yours i'm realizing i'm in over my head and should stick to piano lol BUT that also means rocking pic, good work (:

My mom and I make or alter all of my costumes. And it really isn't tough at all, as long as you start with something you can handle. My first cosplay was Sakura Haruno from Naruto Shippuden, which was pretty much just an altered shirt and skirt with leggings. It's all about starting early enough and catering to your own skill level. You can do it!

when did you start, considering I have a photoshoot in about a month for the album? lol I will have to keep it simple but it's gonna be fun trying this for a change. Your mom must of passed great talent onto you 'cause if i had half your skill at designing I would feel a lot better tomorrow. Oh gosh, I started in 2008, but I only wore my Sakura cosplay for at least 3 of those years. I just started making new costumes about a year and a half ago, and trust me, my mom helped A LOT. If there's someone you know who already has skills when it comes to sewing, ask them for help. Or start with an easier pattern. Also, the internet has a wealth of helpful information. Cosplay.com is a good place to start out and get help, just be patient. I believe in you!
