Hahaha, I've drawn her a few times in the past, but I guess I've never really said much about her in any of my past posts.
Kurena's a young woman in late teenage years or so who had initially started out practicing water manipulation, though there'd always been a particular craving that made her feel like her water magic never actually made any progress. One day, a malevolent group of young men approached her as she walked across an isolated area of town, intending to rob her of her belongings. Unfortunately, it was a sandy area, which indicated the absence of water which she would have used to defend herself.
Then, she remembered... that the human body is made mostly of water. The idea had seemed incredibly disturbing to herself at first, but she realized that there weren't many other options she could take in order to save herself. So she stood still for a few seconds and retracted her arms to trigger the stagnation of the blood within the thieves' bodies, resulting in immediate paralysis before she exerted a little bit more effort to rupture their flesh, instantly destroying their entire beings.
From that occasion onwards, there no longer lay any more interest in working with regular water for Kurena. (mu-ha-ha-ha) Though she tends to only use her blood manipulation for self defense, as she is kind-hearted and treats everyone, even strangers with great respect, but can be equally as vengeful.
