After the dry heat in Egypt, the moisture was an improvement. At least moist heat Maya and Lightning were used to.

"Amazing, how many different landscapes are on this earth." Maya said. "And we haven't even seen half of them."

Maya wiped at her sweaty brow with her increasingly more tanned arm.

"You hot, girl?"

Lightning snorted as she galloped along.

"Hm, I've got an idea." Maya said, nudging Lightning into the direction of the shallow stream they were running alongside.

As was starting to become habit, Lightning didn't need much more than prompting before figuring what her rider was after. With a rather spectacular splash, Lightning entered the river. The mustang mare galloped along like nothing changed, water splashing every which way as they continued on their way.

Weather/Temperature-wise I checked what temperature it is in Morocco currently - which it said was 26 degrees Celcius with high moisture

Things I learned about Morocco that I did not know before drawing this image
It is officially called the Kingdom of Morocco. The land has a rather varied nature, from coastlines on both the Atlantic Ocean and Meditteranean Sea to the Western Sahara desert (and lots in-between).

This background was sooooooooooooooooooooo annoying, you wouldn't believe! The only thing I'm marginally satisfied with is the splashing water - and that only because I used *Aomori 's tutorial for it!
