I've been a bit absent lately, due to a lack of inspiration.Actually, I felt like this picture. Bleak and sad, because the summer is definitely gone.
Picture was taken in Corr na MΓ³na. One of the Gaeltacht (=Irish speaking) villages in Connemara, co. Galway. There is a tiny harbour at the river, and these boats were suffering from the weather as well.

It just won't stop raining and then we lose at the football as well. This piece has got something going on and it's not bleak or desultory. It's beautifully presented but there's more to it than that. I'llcome back if I think of it.
