Went with my brother last night to try get some pics of the storm here in Melbourne! It was the first time we took photographs of lightning on our camera.

incredible and this doesn't damage the sensor on the camera at all, I'd love to shoot lightning like this but am cautious as to the damage it may do to the camera. Thanks!

Absolutely stunning shot! I know how difficult lightning can be to capture, so to get a photo like this on your first time out is incredible! Focus and exposure are good, you've got great reflections giving the sense of scale, you've caught two bolts in the one shot and you can even see the rain and cloud cover! Just brilliant, better lightning than I've ever taken! I'm jealous!! XD
