Description
Personal piece of work, combining 3d-, textures- and many hours of painting-techniques together. The approach is still pretty new to me, but a lot of fun.Before I forget: This work has nothing to do with the Last of Us, even if the mood might feel similar.
Except for the used textures, everything is completely done from imagination.

I dont see where it resembles "The last of us" which is more based around 2013 timeline this is more late 21st early 22nd Century. Possibly "Enslaved" but nice concept all the same.

the idea reminds me of Earth Girl (great book btw, its a utopia sort-of) In the book, new York was a monitored ruin full of rusting buildings, and long-burried chemical waste, with nature coming in to reclaim it. nice!

Uhm... it was a human city.... When I read "Giants of the past" I imagine it was about The Great Old Race, the Yithian, that can be read on "The Shadow Out of Time" from H.P. Lovecraft
