I always end up sketching when I'm feeling drained, so there you go, a sketch of General Onox from Oracle of Seasons
There's not much fanart of him out there of his final dragon form (either that, or I suck at finding them) so I wanted to contribute. This is half inspired by 's new fanfiction "Reversal" which features the General, and half inspired by Skyrim because I totally love those dragons XD
I wish I could paint tiger stripes on him better. I'm a fan of tiger stripes on scaly monsters
Onox was one of my favorite bosses, and I wanted to depict his final form as huge. Huger than huge. And that's why I stuck in my OC dragon Opal and Argorok in there to compare (read: not the real reason. Real reason is so I could draw even more dragons...)
Anyways, Onox is great. Wish I was motivated to do a better deviation of him instead of this sketch but whatever.
I think he'll want more than one lemon-pepper princess to eat! (ffff go read the story if you don't understand that line).
I only own Opal. Everyone else belongs to Nintendo!

The oracle games were fun because when you finished one game, you got a code which you could enter into its sister game and you could "continue" the story in the next game. It was tons of fun because you also got missions from one game which you could only complete in the other game

Fucking eh, Onox. I wanted to skin myself alive when fighting him. I had all the hearts in that game. Not to mention a potion on me. I used them ALL on that guy and still just barely managed to beat him with a quarter of a heart. ONOX YOU ASSHOLE FFFFFFFF. But perhaps that's why he's one of my favorite bosses. Because I came and I conquered! ... Even if it was only once. >.>

I died so much fighting Onox. His huge effing claw: I don't think I really figured out how to dodge it except kind of sort of anticipate it i.e. freaking mind read the game (which I swear is near impossible) and pray you have enough hearts to survive it. But... I loved the fact he was so tough (as endbosses should be) and he was a huge dragon to boot! My favorite LoZ endboss before Vaati came along (though I did like Dethl too: creepy bastard).
Ffft that's just me drawing ONLY dragons (not kidding. Didn't draw people, animals, plants, except for maybe when they were being eaten by the dragon...) for a straight 5-6 years of my life before it occurred to me that I was allowed to draw other things (except those "other things" were dinosaurs and snakes for another few years, so they weren't that different from dragons >_>)

I also died many, many times. And it wasn't his claw with me. I dodged the claws just fine. It was those fucking fireballs. I could dodge the claws, but I sucked at dodging the fireballs. But grah, I eventually need to play through all of Link's Awakening. I start playing, I get a certain distance, then stop, and when I go back to it, I can't remember what I was doing or where I was going. X.x Doesn't help that I don't know where the game itself is now. SAD FACE.
Well, gosh, no wonder. I drew everything for a while, though now iI stick mostly to drawing figures. Or creepy shit. Or both. >.>
