Part 2 of the animal series that I started doodling out of wanting to procrastinate:
So a long time ago (like, around 4 months ago) I drew a doodle of the Legend of Zelda as animal characters (including Talon Three from my fanfiction). Feeling too incredibly lazy to find a scanner, I just redrew what I had XD

This is Vaati as a "Minish" (i.e. kangaroo rat + normal mouse hybrid version because I liked the fluffy tail instead of the hairless tails) and as his upgraded form (fox!).

I know a lot of people like him as a cat, but if we pretend the generic Hylians to be wolves/dogs/canines, then I don't think Vaati would have settled for less (i.e. cat). And I dunno, but I have this little backstory in my head where Vaati the mouse always has to watch out for the local foxes (a natural predator), and when he gets his wish he decides he wants to become what he used to fear (because he thinks they're all powerful and whatnot).

And something about the fox stereotype as cunning, sly, and devilish seems to fit.

Well anyways yeah my mind is kind of mush right now from all the work I have so if I'm not making much sense, excuse me
