Description
Midas looks worse for wear after he recovers from nearly choking on a small bone from a deer carcass. He could smell the kill from a short distance away and he was never one to pass up a free meal. However, he hadn't accounted for the difference between fish bones (and fish in general, which just slid down his throat with ease) and mammal bones. A small rib fragment got stuck in his throat and he began to thrash and wheeze. He was incredibly happy to see the small black bird, and even happier that it ventured inside his gaping maw. It retrieved the bone! But Midas was left regretting every decision on this day, and just lay on the grass a bit. He let the little black bird prance about, and allowed some sparrows to clean his skin. Lesson learned - stick with the fish. its better for you anyway.
