Description

Noelani is at her happiest surrounded by children. And she just happens to have a wriggly, rowdy bunch of hatchlings right now! After the coldness and bleakness of winter, there are many things to look forward to as spring approaches. There are still some dire days to endure though. On this rainy spring day, when even the normally safe shallows along the coast are choppy, Noelani shares one of her fave pastimes - rain basking. Some of the younger hatchlings like Craw and Nile don’t like the unfamiliar ‘thrip’ against their skin, so they take refuge inside Noelani’s mouth. The rest though are happy to keep playing.
