((Somehow...somehow....managed to get the foundations for this laid out in the midst of a really weird brain day. Migraine in the morning, then a quiet spell, then either another migraine or the same one back for revenge during the evening. Needless to say, I cannot actually 'look' at this properly, because I feel like I've forgotten I even drew it xD I know, I know...sounds bizarre. Nearly 12 hours sleep later, I am finally more cognisant and added the colour/shade. Yes, the zuger stood by Cuthbert is seriously considering eating the pencil and notebook. And yas, tried to make Cuthbert a little overgrown and grisly. Why'd I give him kneepads? I have no idea now...))

Cuthbert has spent these intense months since the battle of the Hive trying to be helpful with what he knows. He's not the best rider but he's one hell of a suppert guy for the riders in general. He has thrown himself into making countless observations and notes of the zuger, making connections to the physiology and natomy knowledge he already has so that he can care for them better. Riders aren't left out either - Cuthbert is the first to get water and rations ready for the arrival of those needing a quick pit-stop between important distraction raids. Today, Rhea has dismounted early. The zuger they have been riding did exceptionally well but has worn itself out faster, so it needs a bit of TLC before the next ride.
