New references for my Pokemon OC Kazan!

Last time I drew her was over two years ago so I thought I ought to update it once I got some spare time.

I hope to draw updated references for my other Pokemon OCs too (excluding Gough because he is already done: Gough Profile )
I have 7 main Pokemon OCs who are part of Kazan's story: Kazan, Gough, Jerome, Yushi, Laura, Gonzalo and Sadie.

Looking forward to showcasing them all but of course I'll continue drawing fanart as well.

Kazan Tambora
カザン・タンボラ

Age: 10
Gender: Female
Birthday: April 15
Astrology Sign: Aries
Height: 132cm (4’4’’)
Weight: 35kg (77lbs)
Hair: Dark green
Eyes: Brown
Hobbies: Gym battling, training her Pokémon, camping, picking up random stuff from the ground.
Hometown: Mount Coronet

Goal: To free from the restriction of her mother; to win the Sinnoh league; to become a gym leader.

Bio:
Before she began her Pokemon journey Kazan lived with her extended family in the northern regions of Mount Coronet. Her family holds a great tradition for using fire-type Pokémon elegantly in contests. Her family, in particular mother shuns the other types and Gym Battles. Kazan’s mother holds an expectation of Kazan: that she will only catch and train fire-type or part fire-type Pokémon, and must partake in Pokémon contests. Kazan complies with her mother’s expectations, and begins her journey participating in contests solely. She finds little enjoyment in contests and has failed to advance to the second round of her first three contests (which was probably due to her one-Pokémon team of cheeky Chimchar). She makes the risky decision to partake of gym battles; her family completely unaware. Through this she finds her true interest and continues to indulge in gym battles, in conjunction with contests.

Personality traits:
Kazan is very quiet and tends to keep her feelings to herself. She can be socially awkward and doesn’t enjoy participating in conversation. However, during gym battles she becomes self-confident.

Pokémon:
Chimchar (male)
Chimchar is Kazan’s starter Pokémon she received from Professor Rowan. Chimchar is naïve and absentminded, so Kazan has found it hard to train him for contests and gym battles.

Numel (female)
A wild Pokémon which followed Kazan after her first contest in Celestic Town. Initially, she had no intention of catching Numel as she felt she was conforming to her mother’s ‘fire-type only’ team, but Numel’s trailing became irritating so Kazan caught her half-heartedly. Kazan and Numel soon formed a strong friendship and perform well in battles and contest.

Egg-Eevee-Flareon (male)
An Eevee egg and a Fire Stone parcelled up with a written message: ‘evolve this Eevee into Flareon the moment it hatches’ is what become of Kazan’s Flareon. Flearon is her signature Pokémon and has proven to be very successful in gym battles.
Special ability: Flash Fire

Gastly (male)
Kazan felt she had no choice but to catch Gastly. On her way to Harthome city, she encountered a group of Mightyena attacking a lone Gastly. Kazan felt that the only way to secure Gastly was to catch him in her Pokeball. Will her family be furious? A mystery to be solved!
