Description A still-life composition inspired in textures.

The background texture was made by me using different brushes in Painter 8.
The frames were hand-designed in Photoshop.
The vase was designed in CorelDraw
and the texture applied to the vase is by
lunartex
The flowers in the vase are stock from
carinaD-stock
and the rose next to the vase was photographed
by me and painted in Painter 8.

I thank the stock artists for their images, that are
so lovely and inspiring.

Anjaleck warned me about the feature and I meant to leave a comment but I got really sick with cervical pain, strong headache (it comes from the pressure on the cervicals), nauseas and dizziness. I'm feeling slightly better now but far from well. I do thank you for featuring my work, it's a generous, noble gesture and it has results . I hope I'll feel well enough soon to do some browsing.

I'm so glad it had results! But I'm also so sorry to hear you're not well - that sounds a bit like flu, but then I also know about pressure on the nerves from lack of disc height in the cervicals - they cause awful migraines most days, although I manage on the whole, to get through the day with them in the background on fairly strong medication.

I hope you'll feel much better soon...

Thank you. I do feel a bit better now, after eating some fruit. The pressure on the cervicals is postural (computer-induced ) but I also tend to load phychic tensions on my neck and shoulders.

I think our necks and shoulders are one of the most vulnerable parts of our bodies next to the lumar region of the spine!

I particularly like this one! Actually impressionism isn't particularly my favorite style of art, but I do appreciate a lot of aspects of it, and it's certainly very clever to do it well!
