He's quite fascinating isn't he. He has the serpentine curl to his body, and there's a wicked intelligence in his eyes. I love the smooth skin of the creature, and the curious headgear he has.

Pardon me for kinda butting in, but I have 2 cents to throw in here...
Brushes are not nearly as important as learning to use the existing brushes. I don't see anything in this piece that would require or even benefit from any special kind of brush.
That being said, if you're looking for a good brush pack Houston Sharp has some nice ones for download. You should find anything you could want from there.

Β Oh its no problem! Β I do agree with you for the most part, but I also think that finding the most comfortable brushes for you is important as well. Β I like to ask for brushes from the artists I admire because good chances I haven't tried some of the brushes yet.
Β It's funny because a long time ago I found a certain brush that I just "clicked" with, and my work did become a little bit better partly because I felt very confident with the brush. Β Β
Β I know though thats its 98% work, dedication, and repetition! Β That's what makes the quality of the work...not the brush. Β I never heard of Houston Sharp! Β Will check him out. Β Thanks for letting me know! Β Keep up the awesome work!
