Description I wanted to try this angle, because I like how it looks in other people's drawings. Please let me know how I did!

Also, all my drawings are scanning in pixely. How do I solve this? When I up the resolution, deviantart just makes the picture bigger. o_O;

Inspiration: I love drawing his hair. <3
Media: Copics.

ah.. let's see... I like the angle, but I think his head is a bit too round-looking... but I can't really tell what's too round. But I do like him. Looks a bit less depressed.. maybe emotionless..? or just very reflective, like me!
nyaa.. but I like this!

I totally see what you mean by the roundness now, thanks for pointing it out! :0 <3

O_o XD lol haha... np! hmm.... yeah.. maybe it's just the angle... that's how normal people look at that angle... maybe just make it look more obvious it's at that angle... although that seems utterly impossible... that seems not possible... XD I just repeated myself... XDDD haha.. I'll stop talking now... O_o

Poor emo boyI...I don't notice the pixelyness! But you definitely have great skills in coloring with Copic marker. I especially love the way the eye is colored.

How in the world do you get the inking to be so clean and unsplotchy? x_x I've always found that to be difficult when I manually ink. Does the paper type really matter?

Thank you! <3 <3

Hm, I use smooth paper, but I'm not sure that affects the ink so much. When I mess up inking, though, I just edit out the line in Photoshop. D: Takes forever because I'm bad with the computer, but if I didn't do it there would be a stray line or two in almost every drawing. Then again, maybe it's my expensive pens? I've been using a Sakura micron recently, and it's really smooth and easy to use. I don't think my inking is really so clean though. >_<;

Ah, the magic of computer program editing! <3 I've been trying to use some random nibs, and the art seems fine until I scan it. @_@ What in the world?

As for Sakura microns, I should try to see if there's a difference in using that. It is pretty smooth to use. (I think your inking looks pretty clean though. The tapered part of the hair looks nice.)

Ahhhh, he's so pretty ^-^ I avoid pixally-ness by scanning in at a high resolution (as opposed to changing to a higher resolution once it's scanned), using the blur feature and then changing the resolution to 600... but I only usually scan lineart so I don't know how it would affect your colors ^-^;

I tried that on my "Lack of Talent" picture, and I think it worked really well. I would have never figured that out on my own, thanks! <3

From this small, low-colour university LCD it looks awesome. Makes me wish I had my compy here with which to draw stuff too.

Um, I use a lot of really quick strokes with markers. It takes awhile, and it's really easy to screw up. >_<; I don't know why I keep doing it like that, actually.
Thank you. <3 He's still super emo, though.

Hunh. I suppose you could always try some slight blurring? Although, the pixel-ness doesn't distract from the image that much. o:

The positioning of the eye and nose might look a bit odd [since I imagine the eye would be a tad closer to the ear] but nonetheless, the picture is well done. :]
