I have no idea how these people made blaziken cooler, but they did.I know there is a lot of hate on mega stuff and fairy type, but I don't care, change is fun. Pokemon can be really repetitive so I am glad there is new stuff in it.
Though I wonder if all starters will get mega treatment, since blaziken did.

I am really excited about the new game, and when there is so much negativity, it's hard to keep it sometimes. I feel like I'm the only one out of my peers in the corner going "Yayyyyy new things!" And then they just run up to me and punch me in the face. xD

People can't stay in the 90's forever lol, it's just crazy how people obsess with that era and hate the now when games are so cool and have gone so far.Β
It's like, the book 'howl's moving castle', it was an amazing book, and then it was made into an amazing animated movie.Β The stories are totally different, so you take them as totally different things to like separately.Β Pokemon Yellow was a great game, and just because pokemon x and y will be different/new doesn't mean it will be a bad game.Β It just should be liked as it's own game for what it is.

Plus as much as everyone loves the old classics, they simply can't expect companies to be cranking out the same exact thing over and over. It gets boring, and sometimes businesses need to expand their
marketing and such. As well they have every right to experiment with their own creation. they want to make it something more, so why should people get so butt-hurt about it? I mean sure, some of the pokemon may look questionable. But every generation has its silly pokemon. I mean, come on, look at Voltorb. He looks exactly like a pokeball. xDΒ

I imagine they'll be powerful alright, but there're still many unknowns about the new system
but 1 thing for sure, they have to hold an item to mega evolve...which means Blaziken will outright lose the benefit of possible held items, for example a choice band +50% attackΒ
