Well what have we learned today kiddies?Laura needs to learn how to draw shoes and backgrounds.
But Other than that I'm pretty proud of it, I acctually worked hard on it for once
Its fang from Maximum Ride. Worked for about 2 or 3 hours on this so I'm glad it turned out okay, of course there are a few things i should fix but whatever. '
I also need Ideas for backgrounds please! This is just a temporary crappy one

This looks really really awesome. *O* Fang just might be one of the only factors that would make me want to read more of the book(s). XD lol. No offense to you though, I'm just not a reader. :/
As for backgrounds, for some reason I can just imagine a really deep, dark shot of a park at night or a huge victorian castle on a hill, like he's about to leap from the rocks into flight in front of it or something. @3@ Though I know that'd probably be really hard, I dunno, that's just what came to mind.

Amazing! The shading (especially the pants. I suck at jean texturess) is amazing, and the hands and wrinkles are superb!
I guess as a background you could put him on a rooftop in a city, or on a spur of rock in a desert, or (I guess) a branch in a really big tree.... I dunno XD It still looks fantastic!

I like the stitching on his pants too. If you want to make it a bit more realistic, I'd suggest making the stitches alot smaller and closer together, though.
