He's always smilin' yo. Like someone else said (I'm sorry, I forgot the source), "express with the eyes, THE SMILE LIES." I definitely like sans' thing where he always smiles; I imagine he can't help it, and he copes by telling jokes so others won't think he's weird. I can't wait til he's in the comic, though it may be challenging considering his uh condition.Related content

Beautiful. I love it so much <3 I love the wink most even if it's with the eye that would kill me. He does look genuinely happy there. At least to me.

Haha I think I drew him lazily ignorant of the difference in eyes. So yeah, he is genuinely happy there, and I guess he's also mixed up about his left and right.

I honestly didnt know until I found out somewhere the differences between the two routes how he winks. It makes sense if yoi think about it but that's fine xD I'm glad to know he is guinunly happy there. I do think its my favorite one. Its nice to see him happy. So thank you for this <3 beautiful.

Thanks! I see the steven universe grin a lot, and while I don't mind it, I don't think it accurately portrays Sans. There's a lot of subtlety to his smile, and a bean with lines just won't cut it for me.

I can tell you're getting more comfortable with drawing him! I love it when artists keep his perma-smile, too. It makes him a challenge to draw, but IMO it's worth it.
