This is Jasmine from Disney™'s Aladin TV series.
This picture is a remastering of this screenshot: [link] Which i found randomly on the internet one day, and i was like "HOW can i not have ever found this before?!"
I don't watch Aladin (either the movie or cartoon) but still, as the biggest naga fan i know you'd think i would have found this sooner.
I do think it's quite scarce though.
It's a scene from an episode where Jasmine gets turned into a naga and then gradually through the episode i think she slowly turns into a monsterous lamia, and they're trying to find a cure.
From what i can gather she was transformed at the hands of some kind of perfume she bought from the baddy of the episode.

Anyway as you can see the screenshot is pretty bad quality. i then screencapped the same frame myself from the video i found of it. [link] which is much better quality, cleaner, with better colours.
But it's still not enough for me. so i decided to try cleaning it a bit myself.

The reason it is in pencil is cus the outline is way too thick. also her face was weird when i tried tracing it so i changed it a little.
Anyway yeah i did that a while ago, and a little while ago today i looked at it and i realised the outline looked bad cus it was too thick because the picture was so small (was the thinnest i could get it.)
So i just decided to blow up the picture and re-stroke the path and put the colours and outline back in.
And THEN i decided to do the bed too and THEN i decided to do the whole room and change it. after adding i all the colours i then decided to add a little bit of shading to the background. then full shading on her. then full shadows. then i did lighting and stuff and then i decided to add some kind of bottle and a glass on the table that looked like she drank from it and looks suspicious. (that took so many layers just for that >8I )
So yeah by the end of it i went from doing a simple edit to a full blown picture!

I frigging LOVE how the shine on the tail came out though, the colour of it gives it SUCH an amazing effect.
Anyway i hope the room looks okay now. wanted to make the pillows simpler, the room have a more modern look, and to give the bed some shape effect to indicate the weight of the tail. including the shape of the matress and the creas lines i added.
Do you guys think i made it look better?

Imean i won't say i'm better at drawing than Disney, but it WAS a screengrab from a really old cartoon. and disney wasnt really that amazing back then at animation.
Some kinda random little story.... ish:
Jasmine certainly didn't anticipate the results she'd get from the strange tonic she bought from a mysterious old traveling merchant. the outcomes she had anticipated were things like, it actually working and curing her athletesfoot, it not working and the merchant being a conman, or it made her sick.
But she definately didn't anticipate what would actually happen, not in her wildest dreams. and as she lay in her bed, waking up one morning to a strange and odd feeling of numbness in her legs, looking down and seeing this humongous golden brown snake tail, she realised the tonic she took last night before going to bed definately wasn't what she wanted. but maybe this could work anyway! after all, technically she no longer has itchy feet. so it worked.
Also, she now realised that the strange squiggle of smudged ink constituting the only thing on the bottle's label, was actually a symbol of a snake. Figures.
